Overtime Procedures

 

OVERTIME, 10 YARD PROCEDURE*

 

1.  Three minute intermission

2.  Hold coin toss at center of the field, using general coin toss mechanics.

3.  Toss winner shall choose whether to on the offense or defense or choose the end of the field at which the ball will be put in play.

4.  To start each new series, team may designate location of ball between inbounds lin

5.  Referee will indicate winner of toss by placing a hand on his shoulder:

            a.  The position offensive captain facing goal toward which ball will be advanced and defensive captain facing his opponent goal.

            b.  Give first-down signal toward goal being used
